Is the application free to use?
Absolutely. 2TheBall is completely free and available to everyone. We believe meaningful progress should be accessible to all players, parents, and coaches — no subscriptions, no hidden fees, just tools that empower your journey.
What devices are supported by the application?
2TheBall is available on both Android and iOS mobile devices. Whether you're using a phone or tablet, you can track your progress and stay connected wherever you go.
Where is the data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device in a lightweight database. Nothing is sent to external servers. The information you input powers your charts, reports, and insights — and you can export it anytime as a CSV file to use or share however you like.
Do you collect my data?
Nope. Your data stays with you. We don't collect, store, or share your personal information. You're in full control - export it, back it up, or share it on your terms.
Do I need to create an account?
No account needed. You can start using 2TheBall right away. No sign-up, no email, no password - just open the app and begin your journey.
Do I need to log in?
No login required. We've designed the app to be simple, secure, and friction-free. Your progress is yours to track - no barriers, no distractions.

Options and Settings
Customise 2TheBall UI with your preferred color theme, mode, and more.
How to change the colour theme?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Theme tab', select the drop down menu under the 'Theme Colour Preference' heading. Choose a colour from the list. Note: This is an application wide setting.
How to change light and dark mode?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Mode' tab, select one of the choice chips under the 'Light / Dark Mode Preference' heading. Note: This is an application wide setting.
How to turn on / off sound effects?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Sound' tab, tap the 'Enable Sound Effects' toggle under the 'Sound Effects' heading.Note: This is an application wide setting.
How to set the default / preferred add session user interface?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Session UI' tab, select the drop down menu under the 'Session Interface Preference 'heading. Choose a preferred UI from the list. Now, when you add new session this will be the default UI. Note: This is an application wide setting.
How to show the session quick start tiles?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Quick UI' tab, tap the 'Enable The Quick UI Picker' toggle. Now, when you start a new session a list of tiles with different user interfaces will be available. Use this option if you like to swap and change the add session user interface frequently - or until you find the one you prefer. Note: This is an application wide setting.
How to reset hints and tips?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Hints' tab, tap the button under the 'Reset Hints and Tips' heading. Now, all the hints and tips will be available again. Note: This is an application wide setting.
How to reset the new features badges?
Go to the options screen: Settings > Options. From the 'Features' tab, tap the button under the 'Reset New Feature Badges' heading. Now, all the new feature badges will be available again. Note: This is an application wide setting.
Player Preferences
Customise player prefs: toggle on/off the Hard Working Index, Run Profile, Benchmarks and more.
How to turn on / off the hard working index?
Go to the players screen: Player > Player Details. All the players are listed. Select a player. On the player details page tap the 3 dots icon in the app bar. Tap the 'Player Preferences' tab. Tap the 'Show Hard Working Index' toggle. Note: This is a per player setting.
How to turn on / off the run profile card?
Go to the players screen: Player > Player Details. All the players are listed. Select a player. On the player details page tap the 3 dots icon in the app bar. Tap the 'Player Preferences' tab. Tap the 'Show Run Profile Card' toggle. Note: This is a per player setting.
How to turn on / off benchmarks?
Go to the players screen: Player > Player Details. All the players are listed. Select a player. On the player details page tap the 3 dots icon in the app bar. Tap the 'Player Preferences' tab. Tap the 'Enable Benchmarks' toggle. Note: This is a per player setting.
How to turn on / off session logs?
Go to the players screen: Player > Player Details. All the players are listed. Select a player. On the player details page tap the 3 dots icon in the app bar. Tap the 'Player Preferences' tab. Tap the 'Show Session Logs' toggle. Note: This is a per player setting.
How to turn on / off skills to track during sessions?
Go to the players screen: Player > Player Details. All the players are listed. Select a player. On the player details page tap the 3 dots icon in the app bar. Tap any of the skill toggles under the 'Skills Preferences' tab. Or use the skill presets for a one-click option. Note: This is a per player setting.
How do I sort skills?
Go to the players screen: Player > Player Details. All the players are listed. Select a player. On the player details page tap the 3 dots icon in the app bar. Long press, hold, then drag and drop any of the skills shown under the 'Skills Preferences' tab. Or use the quick sort option to sort skills alphabetically or reset to default sort order. Note: You can only sort skills within its own skill category. Note: This is a per player setting.
